Pet2ESA was created by a group of licensed mental health providers, whose primary mission is to assist individuals with obtaining legitimate emotional support animal documentation through proper evaluation.

Our why is to protect individuals from fraudulent sites, who attempt to receive financial gain from taking advantage of individuals with disabilities. These sites have been known to offer ESA Letters that are not legitimate and do not comply with Local/Federal laws. In order to be considered for an ESA Letter at the discretion of the provider, an individual must speak with a licensed mental health provider over the phone or virtually, and an evaluation must be completed.

Once you are approved and receive your ESA Letter,

Pet2ESA will communicate with property management sites if needed for verification purposes. This will be done in a timely manner to ensure you are residing with your ESA comfortably.

An ESA letter must be provided by a licensed mental health provider to be considered legitimate.

What is an Emotional Support Animal (ESA)?

An Emotional Support Animal (ESA) provides support to individuals who suffer from emotional/mental health disabilities. ESAs are protected under the Fair Housing Act, which allows them to live in housing with their owners regardless of pet policies. However, they do not have the same public access rights as service animals.

Service animals are different in that they are trained to perform specific tasks for individuals with disabilities. ESAs provide comfort through their presence and do not require specialized training. An ESA must be prescribed by a licensed mental health provider who has determined the animal is vital to an individuals mental health.

You will then speak with a Licensed Mental Health Provider who will conduct a formal evaluation.

**No Fee will be required if you are deemed inappropriate for an ESA.

Once ESA approval is determined by a Licensed Mental Health Provider and Payment is received, you will receive a legal professional ESA Letter in PDF Format within 24 hours.
